Meet Ozo Nwabueze Okafor, the Acting APGA National Chairman, as INEC moves to recognise him.

Ozo Nwabueze Okafor is from Amechi Awkunanaw in Enugu South Local Govt Area of Enugu State. Amechi Awkunanaw is a home of former Governor of Old Anambra State, Jim Ifeanyichukwu Nwobodo, former senate president, Ken Nnamani among other prominent elder statesmen.

Ozo Nwabueze Okafor popularly called Okpochie Ngene was local administrator, Enugu West Development Centre, from where he became the Executive Chairman Enugu South local govt area and served for two tenures.
As Executive Chairman of Enugu South LGA, he was elected the Chairman, Association of local govts of Nigeria (ALGON) Enugu state chapter. Due to his sterling performance, he was elected the National President ALGON.
Okpochie Ngene has also served as Vice President, United Cities and local govts of Africa.
And in 2015, he was the APGA candidate of Enugu East Senatorial zone. On June 6, 2015 he was elected APGA National Vice Chairman South East.
Due to the suspension of Ozo Victor Ike Oye and two Deputy National Chairmen South/North by majority of the NWC, Ozo Nwabueze Okafor was appointed the acting National Chairman of APGA.
Ozo Nwabueze Okafor, is a product of Chimaroke Nnamani political structure called Ebeano.
